New developments and effective strategies to manage drink and drug driving’ was the theme of the conference organized by Terra, Terra Foundation and the Special Road Safety Unit on Wednesday the 16th May 2012
This conference, which aimed at providing more details on alcohol, drugs, driving ability and aspects related to the driver’s responsibility, was led by Dr. Charles Mercier-Guyon, a leading specialist in this field. The latter has introduced new technologies including alcolocks, a device that reduces the incidence of ‘drink and drive’. It should be noted that Terra’s vehicles will be the first in the island to be equipped with such an innovative system.
